New Delhi: Two men were fatally stabbed, and a third was injured near a traffic signal at Azadpur Sabzi Mandi in north west Delhi’s Adarsh Nagar on Monday. Police said they received information at Adarsh Nagar police station from BJRM Hospital at 12.45 am about two individuals who were brought in with stab wounds.
“Our team immediately reached the hospital and found that two men, Kamal (40), a driver from Mahendra Park, and Amzad (42), a resident of Shakurpur, sustained single stab wounds and were declared dead on arrival,” said a police, adding, “A third victim, Abid (26), sustained a stab injury to his right hand while attempting to protect himself and is currently undergoing treatment.”
A case was registered under sections 103 (murder) and 109 (attempt to murder) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. tnn
